Michael Andriopoulos Angle Pair Relationships
Section 1.6 found on pages 46-49 deals with angle pair relationships. It will teach how to calculate the measures of paired angles. Two angles form vertical angles if their sides form two pairs of opposite rays. Also, vertical angles are congruent. Linear pairs are formed when two angles’ unshared side form opposite rays. Linear pairs are supplementary meaning that the sum of their angles is equal to 180 degrees. In addition, complementary angles are equal to 90 degrees.
